We are a small, friendly, gardening club that has been running since 2012. We meet in St Petrock’s Church on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm.
We have a variety of speakers on a wide range of topics followed by a raffle and refreshments. A competition of ‘the best flower in your garden’ is held at each meeting and a small prize is awarded, at our annual Christmas social, for the most points over the year.
Members are encouraged to grow seedlings and plants to sell at our popular annual plant sale and cream tea. We try to have two trips to local gardens, with a cream tea afterwards, during the summer months.
Our subscriptions are £10 a year and then £1 per meeting. New members or visitors are always welcome.
