The other event in May is our annual Cream Tea and Plant Sale – BankHoliday Monday, May 25th. Donations of plants, scones/cakes are always appreciated. Thank you.

Our visit to Rocking Horse Cafe has been changed to June 11th.

Our small, friendly, gardening club has been running since 2012 meeting in in St Petrock’s Church at 7.30pm on the 1st Monday of each month, unless other wise stated, commencing in March.

We have a variety of speakers, on a wide range of topics, followed by a raffle and refreshments. A competition of  ‘the best flower in my garden today’ is held at each meeting and a small prize is awarded, at our annual Christmas social, for the most points over the year. You do not have to be a gardener, or even have a garden to join. We welcome new members, just come along for the talks and the social chit chat.

Members are encouraged to grow seedlings and plants to sell at our popular annual plant sale and cream tea.   We try to have two trips to local gardens, with a cream tea afterwards, during the summer months. We also encourage members to support the Village Show, held  annually, in August.
