John Arthur Mease Lomas was an artist who lived in Timberscombe for 12 years. He completed many paintings of West Somerset.
Lomas moved to “Oway View”, at Cowbridge, in 1938 and rented a studio in Great House Street for his painting. He live in Timberscombe until 1950, when he died, aged 87 .
