Recycling News

Did you know that Tesco in Minehead now has a recycling point for soft plastics such as: bread bags; fruit
and veg packaging; crisp packets; salad bags; baby and pet food pouches. Once collected, the old soft plastic is
sent for recycling where it is washed, sorted and processed before being turned into new packaging. It
will be used to pack items such as food, household and beauty products.

Police warning

Once again the area is suffering from thefts. A home has been burgled overnight on the 24th after 5pm in Jury Road, Dulverton. Following recent reports of shed and outbuilding thefts, this property has also had the front door forced open and an unknown quantity of tools stolen from within.

Any information please contact the Police on 101 quoting Ref number: 5221116234 stating NHW Release or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Thank you for your support.

Please ensure your outbuildings are well secured and if possible have security lighting.
