The A396 will be closed for 1 week starting on 15th February for essential works by Wessex Water.

The closure is as the road passes the Doctors’ Surgery at Dunster. Diversions will be in place, but avoid this area if possible for the week.

Message from Jill and Trevor Davies

We have recently moved to Cutcombe and have a cream 1950s Aga in our kitchen which has been converted to oil fired fuel. We are offering it free to anyone who would be prepared to disconnect and collect it. A local engineer has quoted for this and remembers servicing it regularly when it was in use.
