If you get a call that seems off, stop, hang up, and dial 159. It’s a safe and direct way to connect with your bank when you’re most at risk of being scammed. It’s simple, easy to remember, and can’t be faked so 159 will never call you.
The attached has some useful information and a link to the Stop Scams UK website.

The Parish Council would like to say a big thank you to Andy and Lynne Cooper who donated these gates for the school football pitch and fitted them last week.
We now need some earth to build up the bank at the sides of the gate. If you have any soil you are able to donate please contact me at :

These works are now in their final stages. While the work has been carried out, some unavoidable damage occurred to the road surface due to the movement and storage of materials and equipment on site.
As a result, we are taking the chance to resurface it now and leave the road in a good condition. Doing this now means we will not need to return later in the year.
To do this safely, short daytime road closures are planned on Thursday 26 February and Friday 27 February, from 9am to 3pm, to allow the new surface to be laid and set properly.
Thanks for bearing with us while we finish up.
