Repair Cafe

We are delighted to inform you that the Fixy van is again coming to Porlock Repair Café on Saturday 31st May, for a Spring Tech Amnesty. Clear out the “Drawer of Doom” by donating all that unwanted, outdated, upgraded Smart Tech languishing at home and help Donate IT, who will securely data-wipe all donations and give it a new lease of life, refurbishing where possible, and gifting back out free of charge to someone in digital need in Somerset.
Fixy would love to take your donations of old unused laptops, smart phones and tablets and turn them into lifelines. Nearly everyone has a device or two that could be liberated and either pressed back into service or else stripped of its precious metals to fund refurbishment work before being recycled responsibly. It’s win, win, win!” Please note they cannot accept printers, scanners, keyboards, mice or screens, these can be taken to the local recycling centre.
After the 31st May then you can still can donate unwanted Smart Tech at the Donate IT drop-off point at Minehead Eye, 1 Mart Road, Minehead, Somerset, TA24 5BJ. Mon-Fri 10am-8pm, Sat-Sun 10am-4pm.
I enclose a PDF & JPEG’s.
Cheers Ian
