Wildlife and Wellbeing – The Exmoor Nature Festival is just around the corner!

Get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of Exmoor National Park as the Exmoor Nature Festival (supported by Visit Exmoor) kicks off in just a few weeks’ time, Saturday 17 May until Sunday 1 June 2025. This two-week celebration offers a fantastic line up of over 50 events that showcase the unique wildlife and habitats of Exmoor.

From family fun days and forest bathing to marine life watching, wildlife trails, kayak adventures, farm walks, and outdoor yoga, there’s something for everyone.

Festival Organiser, Julie Colman, Rural Enterprise Co-Ordinator at Exmoor National Park said “Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to connect with nature and unwind in one of the UK’s most beautiful natural environments. We are expecting many events to be popular, so please book early to avoid missing out.”

Dan James, Enterprise and Communications Manager at Exmoor National Park added. “We’re really excited to be working with partners to put on such a varied programme. Exmoor is regarded by many as a haven for wildlife and provides many unique opportunities which the festival will showcase. But, as elsewhere, there are also many challenges facing nature on Exmoor. As well as helping people enjoy our beautiful National Park the festival also provides a great opportunity to engage people in looking after our wildlife and learning more about nature.”

You can pick up a free printed programme from our National Park Centres in Dulverton, Dunster and Lynmouth (Open 7 days a week, 10am-5pm) and at various other outlets across the Greater Exmoor area.
