This Saturday 1st March will be the next village morning to help with maintaining the churchyard for all those willing and able to assist our small band of helpers in keeping this beautiful open space in good order. Whatever time and energies you may be able to devote to this, you can be sure it is very much appreciated by us! Simply bring your gardening gloves and tools you will need, and you can join in our endeavours. Good company and good gardening! No need to worry about removing the cleared greenery as we take care of that. Hope to see you there sometime between 10am to midday. Thank you – Jenny, Kate and Marion

This year during Lent we have the opportunity to read and discuss the novel The Shack by Wm Paul Young. This 2008 novel was a worldwide publishing phenomenon.  

Millions found their hunger satisfied by the story of a man lifted from the depths of tragedy and despair through his life altering encounter with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  

It’s a book that explores and wrestles with the timeless question “Where is God in a world so full of unspeakable pain?”  The answer comes in the deeper exploration of the Trinity, the intricate concept of God in three persons and our relationship with him.

In The Shack we are invited to a place of healing and transforming love.

Love it or hate it, this book gives us an opportunity to explore more deeply the theology about God the Father Son and Holy Spirit within this story.

Tuesday the 18^tht March at 10.30 am.

Tuesday 15 April at 10.30 am
