The coronation of King Charles III

As part of our village celebrations to mark the Coronation of King Charles III you are warmly invited to join in a special Songs of Praise in St Petrock’s Church on Sunday 7th May at 11.00am. There will be a selection of poems and readings fitting for the day, along with hymns which will be well known to us all. Refreshments will be served afterwards. There is no charge, although donations are always welcome. This will mark the start of a day of local Timberscombe celebrations. Do please join us!

CORONATION SONGS OF PRAISE

On Sunday 7th May at 11am there will a Coronation Songs of Praise in St Petrock’s Church to mark the accession of King Charles III and Queen Camilla to the throne. This will be a combination of poetry readings, lessons and songs. All are welcome to come and join in, with refreshments served afterwards.

You may know that we have entered this free competition three times before in previous years, and on two occasions have been fortunate to win £1000 each time. This is a completely free entry and we would be thrilled if you would make an online vote in favour of St Petrock’s. You only need to vote once. These votes are all entered into a random draw and we could perhaps win £1000 again. The costs of maintaining our village church are relentless and this could help in so many ways to keep St Petrock’s in good order.
