Temporary Road Closure: ttro825567W – Steart Lane, Timberscombe

The works are expected to commence on 25th September 2023 and last for 5 days (09:30 – 15:30) to enable Openreach to carry out overhead cabling works.

The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is permitted on this occasion.

It is very easy to join and does not cost you anything.  There are over 6000 retailers on the site and we get a small percentage of each qualifying purchase, made through the site, once you have joined. To date we have 12 supporters and have raised over £480 for St Petrock’s so far. It is by far the easiest and most efficient way to raise funds for the ongoing mainenance and development of our historic village church to the benefit of us all. All the major retailers are there. Wessex Water will be carrying out supply network work in Timberscombe from 4th Sept to 8th Sept.

It may be wise to stock up with bottled water and  fill kettles , etc. before this work begins, in case of supply interruption.

Two pictures left in the village hall after the show. If the young artists that created these would like to claim them then please contact Pauline on 01643 841546 to arrange collection.  If we don’t hear anything they will be sympathetically recycled.
