I would like to pass on my thanks, through the website, to the talented mystery artist who is positioning the lovely painted stones all over the place.  Such a delight to find and re-hide.  A bit of joy in uncertain times.

You can book your own Covid vaccination at Book a coronavirus vaccination – NHS (www.nhs.uk) if any of the following apply. If you are unable to travel to the major vaccination hubs (Taunton Racecourse is nearest) then look for a later booking or simply wait for your doctor’s surgery to contact you.

• you are aged 55 or over
• you are at high risk from coronavirus (clinically extremely vulnerable)
• you are an eligible frontline health or social care worker
• you have a condition that puts you at higher risk (clinically vulnerable)
• you have a learning disability
• you are a main carer for someone at high risk from coronavirus

You also need to be registered with a GP surgery in England to use this service. You can register with a GP if you do not have one.

The age limit for booking is reduced regularly, so if you are not yet 55 watch the site for changes.

I would like to advertise for a part time gardener for our cottage in the village. Ideal for a retired person. If interested contact Martin Edwards at martin.edwards69@yahoo.com

Police Notice

An outbuilding has been broken into between the 4th and 5th at a property in Tivington. This was first noticed when a carer arrived to attend for the elderly resident and it was noted that a padlock had been broken away from the outbuilding door. On closer inspection it appears nothing had been stolen from within, however there is the possibility of tampering with another part of the outbuilding.

Any information please contact the Police on 101 quoting Ref number: 5221048429 stating NHW Release or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Thank you for your support.
