Youth Work Moves to Instagram

Young Somerset have launched a Virtual Youth Club – with different activities each day.

Supporting Couples through these unprecedented times – The Marriage Sessions – Free, online and in your lounge!

Spending more time together can be wonderful, challenging, somewhere in-between or moving between them all.  To support couples through these times Care for the Family will be streaming ‘The Marriage Sessions‘. This four-part resource explores how couples can build or strengthen their relationship.  The material is suitable for newlyweds through to those married for years, and all you need is an hour a week. The course is free of charge but you need to sign up to receive the material. Click here to register.

Tune in to Wellbeing Tips

Listen in to BBC Somerset each Wednesday evenings between 7-8pm for some great tips and expert advice on staying healthy, happy and safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

Members of Somerset County Council’s Public Health team will be on Charlie Taylor’s evening show, interviewing a different guest each week from services such as adult social care and from the voluntary and community sector.

The frequencies to tune in are 95.5FM, 1566AM, DAB, or listen online here and on the BBC Sounds app.
