Road Closure
The road from Timberscombe to Dunster will be closed again from Monday (10th May) until Friday 28th May, due to ‘structural works’ by Somerset County Council. The closure will be just after Duddings Holiday Cottages on the A396.
If you enjoy backing up narrow lanes and squeezing your car past other vehicles, you could try taking the nearest alternative routes via Knowle Lane or through Wooton Courtenay (not appreciated much by the WC residents!).
However, the best option would be avoid going to Minehead during this period or taking the scenic route over Dunkery.
