The Exmoor Society
The Society is seeking to appoint an Honorary Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees in September 2021. The Society is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered with the Charity Commission. Duties include the preparation of annual accounts to comply with charitable legislation, preparation of an annual budget and bi-monthly financial statements against that budget along with other financial responsibilities.
The Board meets on the first Monday of alternate months, commencing in February each year. Recently these meetings have been via Zoom but hopefully face-to-face meetings will re-commence soon. The AGM is held on the 3rd Saturday in September.
