Thank you to everybody who came along and supported the Summer Event at Bougham Farm last Saturday. Despite the weather concerns, we were fortunate to enjoy cooler (thankfully) temperatures and no rain. We were really pleased that so many from the village came along and enjoyed themselves. We all thank Kate Hart for allowing this to take place at her home and include her mother Nicola who worked so hard to make sure everything went smoothly! People were very generous in supplying delicious salads and puddings and a wonderful selection of prizes for the raffles, quizzes to entertain us, and not forgetting all those who helped to prepare for this by erecting gazebos, moving furniture, allowing parking, and helping to serve food and drink and clear up as we went along. None of this could have happened without the willingly given assistance of too many people to mention. Everyone from the PCC thanks you for your good humour, help and contribution towards making this a wonderful success for our community. We are delighted to find that after expenses, a total of £1000 has now been raised for St Petrock’s Church funds which will help pay for everyday bills and contribute towards savings to repair the church pathways. Well done and THANK YOU ALL!
