Somerset Covid-19 Updates including grants
The Somerset Household Support Fund is designed to provide short-term financial support to vulnerable households which are struggling to afford household essentials this winter. These households will need help with the cost of food, energy, water bills and other essentials.
Citizens Advice West Somerset is working with Somerset County Council and other Citizens Advice offices to distribute the Household Support Fund across our district. The fund is only available until end of March 2022, or until it runs out.
To be eligible:
You must live in the county of Somerset
You must be over the age of 16 and living independently of parents or carers
You are struggling to pay for essentials because you don’t have enough money to pay for them
You need to provide the required proof of your identity, Somerset residency and proof of your income (your most recent bank statement)
We expect to receive a lot of applications and must process them all before the end of March 2022.
