Timberscombe Parish Council recently hosted the West Somerset Together talk on Wildlife Gardening. With an estimated 124,500 gardens in Somerset, covering 19 square kilometres of the county, our gardens have huge potential for nature. If we all gave a little bit more space for wildlife within our gardens, just image how much habitat we would create overall for nature!
West Somerset Together provided a wildlife survey for participants to see how their own garden rated as a wildlife haven and, importantly, to give them ideas on how they could develop their gardens to be a more wildlife friendly space. If you would like to take the survey click on the following link and scroll down the page. Take the survey
