The next meeting of the History Group will take place on Monday 16th January at 7pm in St Petrock’s Church. The subject of the talk will be the artist John Arthur Mease Lomas who resided in Timberscombe for the latter part of his life. Jeff Cox has thoroughly researched his life and work and will present what he knows to the Group. All are welcome, members will be renewing their annual subscription at this meeting but visitors are also extremely welcome. Refreshments are served.

The current Featured Item on the History Group website is all about T.C.Lethbridge, born at Knowle House in 1901, who led an extremely varied and interesting life with an eclectic interest in archaeology and the supernatural.
