Weather permitting, the bases for two new football goals on the football pitch will be fitted next week. Whilst the bases set the posts will be covered by cones. If you see anybody interfering with the cones please ask them to leave them where they are, to ensure nobody trips on the bases. The money for the new goal posts has been donated by a local family, who do not want publicity. The fitting will be paid for by the Parish Council. The new posts will be 66cm higher and a bit wider. Hopefully, the extra height will prevent children swinging on the bar, which is what has caused the present bars to sin and become wonky.
