Join Minehead WI, Plastic Free Minehead and Plastic Free Exmoor for an evening of making a difference to our coastline.

We’ll be meeting by Jubilee Gardens Café for an hour of clearing litter and marine debris from Minehead beach and seafront, helping to protect our beautiful coast and wildlife.

Litter pickers and bags will be provided – just bring a pair of old gloves and dress for the weather.

This clean-up is part of the Surfers Against Sewage Million Mile Clean campaign. After the clean, we’ll sort and audit everything we collect, helping to identify the brands and types of litter most commonly found on our beaches and supporting campaigns to tackle pollution at its source.

Although this event is being hosted by Minehead WI, everyone is warmly welcome. Whether you’re a regular volunteer or joining us for the first time, we’d love to see you there.
