Free First Aid Training

Timberscombe Parish Council have organised a FREE First Aid course on Monday 21st September at 6.30pm in the Village Hall.

This training is open to all who would be interested, free of charge ( you may make a donation to the group, who are offering this training free of charge, if you wish but it is not required). No previous experience needed.

As I hope you are all aware, we have a village defibrillator situated in The Glebe telephone box. The Parish Council have also purchased a Bleed Kit which is in the phone box too.

The First Aid training will cover basic life support, the safe use of a public access defibrillator and use of a bleed kit.  It will be run by The Minehead Community Defib Group, who gave us such excellent training a few years ago.

Could you please email me if you would like to attend as I need to let the organisers know how many will be present: la.webb@btinternet.com

There are limited places, which will be filled on a first come first in basis.
