GREAT BRITISH BEACH CLEAN – MINEHEAD BEACH!

Come and join Plastic Free Minehead for the Marine Conservation Society’s Great British Beach Clean!

Saturday 19 September

10am

Meeting point: Outside the Beach Hotel, TA24 5AP

We’ll be surveying a 100-metre stretch of beach that we’ve monitored over the past few years. By recording the types and amount of litter and marine debris we find, we’re helping the Marine Conservation Society build a valuable picture of the health of our beaches.

We’ll also be doing a general beach clean and litter pick around the seafront.

What to bring:

We’ll provide litter pickers and collecting sacks, but please bring old gloves and dress appropriately for the weather.

Everyone is welcome! Come along, meet some lovely people, get some fresh sea air and help keep our beautiful coastline clean.

Every piece of litter we remove makes a difference!
