Temporary closure of footpath

Please be aware that there is a temporary closure of Public Footpath WL 25/27 at Wanneroo Farm, from the point where it leaves the track near Wanaroo Farm at SS 9536 4223 to the footbridge near Wanaroo Farm at SS 95294223 for a total distance of approximately 80 metres due to a dangerous tree leaning on the fence adjacent to the footpath and likely to collapse.

  • The closure will take immediate effect and will remain in force for 21 days – works are planned to remove the tree on Monday 7th September and the footpath will reopen as soon as these are complete. There is no alternative route.
  • For information, please contact Sue Applegate, Public Rights of Way and
  • Access Officer on 01398 323665.due to a dangerous tree.

Art Courses

Jim Starr Professional artist – Art Courses and workshops.

I am offering three different sets of classes held on Thursdays (note there is one Friday): Acrylics, Watercolours & Sketching/Journalling

They are small classes of 10 people max, this allows me to give enough personal feedback whilst creating a community of practitioners in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Classes are suitable for all levels of experience from complete beginner to artists wanting to develop their skills, again this is possible due to the small group size. No pressure, just go with the flow.

These are the dates of each session. You are welcome to all ten classes in the set but if you can’t make every single date that’s ok, you will still benefit from the course as the tuition and flow of teaching is tailored to your practice: 24 Sept / 1, 9, 15, 22, 29 Oct / 19 & 26 Nov / 3 & 10 Dec
