ANATOMY OF A FALL (Cert 15) Tuesday 5th March at 7:30pm.  Winner of the Palme d’Or at Cannes, the highly acclaimed Anatomy of a Fall is a gripping psychological thriller.

SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE – Thursday 14th – Sunday 17th March at 7:30pm.  Barnstormers present…SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE.  Join local award-winning group Barnstormers for this playful, funny, and romantic work of historical fiction, involving a large and talented cast with local musicians.

SOMERSET OPERA W.S.GILBERT, This was your life – Sunday 17th March at 7:30pm.  This is a new, mad-cap story devised by D’Oyly Carte’s own Robert Traynor who will also perform the role of Gilbert, together with soloists and chorus from Somerset Opera.

SHERLOCK HOLMES STRIKES BACK Thursday 21st March at 7:30pm.  Don’t Go Into the Cellar presents ‘Sherlock Holmes Strikes Back’.  Award-winning actor Jonathan Goodwin returns as super sleuth Sherlock Holmes.

PAINT YOUR WAGON – Saturday 23rd March at 11:00am.   Music and lyrics by Lerner & Lowe.  All proceeds to go to the Regal Theatre support fund.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND – Sunday 24th March at 2:00pm.  Join with us for Folksy Theatre back at the Regal!  Filled with live music, puppetry and hilarious characters, it’s the perfect show for the whole family!

EVERYTHING CHANGES – Take That Tribute Show – Sunday 31st March at 7:30pm.  The UK’s most authentic tribute to Take That and Robbie Williams.  so immerse yourself in the Take That spectacular and sing, dance and party all night long!

In view of the recent problems with Magna properties, we felt it might be useful to post how to get help, or report a problem to  Magna.

Below are the ways Magna customers can contact Magna to report repairs or other issues or to ask questions about expected repairs.

  2. Live chat is available on their website https://www.magna.org.uk/help-centre, this will give you direct access to the Customer Care Team, with the same support you get via a telephone call without the wait times.
  3. You can also report a repair, damp or mould at magna.org.uk/contact-us/complaints

IMPORTANT If you report a problem or have a complaint always keep a record.

For example:

  1. Emails or letters you send or receive with dates.
  2. Dates and description of any phone calls you have made. keep a record of what is said and who you spoke to.
  3. Complaint or case reference numbers.
  4. A note of any missed appointments or call backs.
The council or housing association response

They must write in clear plain language and give:

  1. A decision and reasons
  2. Details of any offer to put things right or actions they will take
  3. Information on how to take your complaint to the next stage if you are not happy. All organisations must have a customer complaints procedure which you should use if you are unhappy with their initial response.

Message from Wessex Water

This opening stage of the scheduled work has progressed well and we are now in a position to start the next section on time.  

The next stage 

Two-way traffic lights will be in place on the A396 Timberscombe bypass between Monday 12 February and Monday 11 March.  

Bemberry Bank will be closed to through traffic between Monday 12 February and Monday 18 March.  

Access will be maintained for residents, businesses and the school and our on-site team will work with local customers with regard to any specific access requirements.  

There may be some noise disruption while this work is carried, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.  

Water supply services can be used as normal unless we advise otherwise.
