VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR
Due to the resignation of Mrs Helen Moore there is a vacancy for a Parish Councillor.
Unless ten electors within the Parish give notice within 14 working days* from the notice date requesting that an election be held, the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
The requests can be made by writing to the Chief Executive, Electoral Services, Somerset Council, County Hall, The Crescent, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 4DY.
They can also be made via email: Elections@somerset.gov.uk
The requests do not have to arrive at the same time.
* These are full working days which do not include weekends or bank holidays.

Last chance for tickets
If you are intending to come to the quiz night on Saturday please buy your tickets from the Post Office by 5pm on Wednesday so that we can purchase the correct amount of food.

Magna are advertising a 2 bedroom first floor flat at Wheddon Cross. The monthly rent is £514.29 and there is £18.52 in service charges. In accordance with the s106 Agreement, preference is to be given to those with a valid local connection to the parish and after that to one of the adjacent parishes – Exford, Exton, Luccombe. Luxborough, Timberscombe, Winsford or Wootton Courtenay.
