Plastic Tree Guard Clearance at Timberscombe – Volunteers Needed

🌳Join Plastic Free Exmoor on Thursday 19 March, 10:00am – 12:30pm to help clear old plastic tree guards from a small area of mixed deciduous woodland below Timberscombe Common.

🌳The guards were installed during a tree planting scheme around 2003 and many are now lying on the forest floor or still attached to trees. We’ll be collecting loose guards and cutting away the remaining ones so they can be properly removed.

🌳A great opportunity to help tidy up the woodland and reduce plastic pollution on Exmoor.

🌳If you’d like to join us, please email plasticfreeexmoor@gmail.com for further details.

Thank you for helping keep Exmoor plastic free! 💚#PlasticFreeCommunities#plasticfreeexmoor#exmoornationalparkSurfers Against SewageOur Precious EarthExmoor National ParkVolunteers in SomersetExmoor Society
