Thank you to everyone who has signed up to take the Dunkery Tidings this year and to all the businesses which have signed up to advertise in the village magazine. There is still the opportunity to advertise and we welcome your enquiry – please let Lynn know at dunkerytidings@gmail.com or Jenny Gratton or Marion Jeffrey. We also would like to increase circulation of this monthly publication, so again please just let any of us know. £6 is the modest annual cost. A limited number of copies will also be available at the Post Office and we thank Sarah for her help with this. Please support your village magazine and use it for handy reference for all sorts of events, church services , timetables, local news and local services etc. Thank you!

The inaugural meeting of the Poetry Group will be next Thursday 15th February from 2pm – 3.30pm in St Petrock’s Church, Timberscombe. All are most welcome to come along and join in. It is intended that the Poetry Group meet on the third Thursday of each month.

We will work from a book entitled ‘By Heart : 101 Poems to Remember’ edited by Ted Hughes and published by Faber. Ideally everyone will have their own copy but there will be no problem with sharing either!

Everyone involved needs to be there as this will be the last big get together before the Reveal! Please bring everything you have done with your square – finished or not. Also, if you have changed your mind about it, or feel it’s not for you, don’t worry. We can re-allocate the square, just speak to me next Wednesday. If you are struggling with anything we can help and guide you. Just ask and we can maybe buddy you up so you can achieve a result you are happy with. Simply ask!
