This weekend at st petrock’s

To celebrate the beginning of Advent and the start of the Christmas festive season, do please come along to the village production in a holly-decked and candle-lit St Petrock’s this evening, Friday 1st December from 4.30 pm for mulled wine and refreshments, ready for a 5pm start. There is a programme of readings, poetry and music curated by Allan Sutton and with participation by a variety of talented villagers. Retiring collection will assist the church heating fund. Our lovely Christmas tree will be on show outside, complete with new star! Thanks to Willow Stream Christmas Trees for donating a tree again this year.

On Saturday morning 2nd December between 10.30 and 12.00 you are invited to St Petrock’s for the annual Christmas coffee, crafts and gift sale with plenty to buy, raffles to win including a beautiful christmas cake,, fantastic baking and seasonal goodies on sale. Not to mention the opportunity to sit and enjoy hot refreshments and mince pies and delicious biscuits with friends and neighbours. All profits will go to church funds.

On Sunday 3rd December at 11am Rev Nicola will lead our First of Advent Service. All welcome. Many thanks.

Remembrance Day

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Acts of Remembrance last Sunday. It is an important moment to mark in our lives, and so it was very pleasing to have a full church to honour the fallen. We were able to raise the terrific sum of £210 for the Royal British Legion.
