celebrate the start of advent

Join us in an early-evening village production of readings, poetry, music and lots of humour in St Petrock’s Church, once again orchestrated by Allan Sutton and with the support of talented village readers and performers. Delicious seasonal nibbles and refreshments are to be enjoyed alongside a candle-lit church with our Christmas tree to welcome you in and a convivial atmosphere to embrace the start of the festive season. There will be a retiring collection.

How do you feel about being involved in something that will be part of Timberscombe history?

The village sewing group is attempting to make a wall hanging for the church.

We really need more help if anyone is available. We meet at the Lion Inn on a Wednesday evening 6-9pm but some just pop in, some stay and socialise and some stitch at home! Whatever suits you! We have all abilities so please don’t be shy about joining in.

We have many beautiful buildings in the village and it would be amazing if these could be added to the wall hanging plus old nooks and crannies which make the village unique .

There is lots of help and  support if you need it.

A very special village winter project by the local residents for St Petrocks church.

Please support us by getting involved in any way you can – we would love to see you.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

This Sunday 12th November at 10.45 please join us to pay our respects in an Act of Remembrance at St Petrock’s Church when we will pay tribute to the fallen of both world wars and all other conflicts. The retiring collection will be donated to the Royal British Legion. You are most welcome to stay for refreshments afterwards as usual.
