Harvest Festival and Supper

Don’t forget this Sunday 1st October at 6pm our Harvest Service will be held in St Petrock’s with poems, readings and seasonal worship lead by Rev Nicola, amongst the beauty of a church decorated with all the traditional fruit, vegetables and flowers of harvest-time. A retiring collection will be held in aid of Water Aids Harvest Festival Appeal 2023. Afterwards, you are very welcome to join us for a Harvest Supper following on in the Village Hall.We look forward to seeing you there!

 Exmoor ScavengeWonderful Woodlands at Tarr Steps

Come and celebrate the start of Autumn by joining us this Sunday, 1st October at 10am on this action packed adventure discovering the wonders of Exmoors woodlands. Drop in at any time and enjoy the following –

10.00 – Guided walk with Leader Darren Sherwood

11.30 – Wonderful Woodland Scavenge – self led activity in family groups

12.30 – Identification skills – trees, fungi and bugs!

13.30 – Species total and picnic

No need to book, just come along and have fun. This is a FREE EVENT aimed at all ages, donations are gratefully received.

(Timings will be flexible and activities may change depending on the weather).
