Carhampton Road Closure
The previously cancelled Road Closure at Carhampton will now commence at 1900hrs on 12/09/2023. The works will be carried out and reinstated on the same night, with the closure lifted by 0600hrs on 13/09/2023.
Wessex Water’s traffic management provider will have operatives on site while the closure is in place. This is to safely escort any HGV movements throughout the closure, as there is not a suitable alternative route to take. Information boards will be placed alongside the ‘Road Closed Ahead’ signs informing HGV traffic of this arrangement.
For local traffic, a signed diversion route will be in place via the B3190 Sticklepath, B3224 and A396.
