Remembrance Sunday Service

On Sunday, 9th November we gathered in St Petrock’s Church for our annual Service of Remembrance to honour the fallen of both World Wars and other conflicts.

Reverend Nicola Butt led our Act of Remembrance, Rear Admiral Ian Moncrieff delivered the Reflection and Tyson laid the wreath at our World War 1 Memorial. Following the service there was a procession to the grave of Major John Timothy and to the Commonwealth Grave where wreaths were laid.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the retiring collection of £291.50. This will be donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
