Just a reminder that this takes place on Sunday 28th September, in St Petrock’s Church at 6pm and then in the Village Hall at 7pm for a supper to which everyone is welcome. This year we particularly welcome any surplus vegetables or home grown produce or tinned goods which we can use to decorate the church and afterwards take to local worthy causes. Please simply leave on the table at the back of the church (open 9am to 5pm) and we will take it from there. Your help and support is deeply appreciated.

Please note that with our Harvest Service at 6pm on Sunday, there is no morning service this Sunday.

And if you happen to be coming to Warm Welcome tomorrow (Thursday) morning, any produce you can donate could also be delivered then. This takes places between 10am and 12 noon. You can follow it up with a cuppa and a piece of cake afterwards!

TIMBERSCOMBE GARDENING CLUB

The next meeting of the Garden Club will be on Monday 6th October when Ken Allan will be enlightening us on everything about bees. Ken will be be bringing along a hive – empty of residents ! We look forward to welcoming members and guests. 7.30p at St Petrock’s Church. There will be refreshments, a raffle and the monthly competition – ‘ the best flower in my garden’.

Temporary Road Closure: Minehead To Williton Road, Williton 
Please be aware that we have received notification of a temporary road closure at Minehead To Williton Road, Williton for approximately 740 metres, which will commence on 01st October 2025 and is expected to last until 07th October 2025 (between 19:00 to 06.00hrs). These works are for Kiely Bros to carry out prep works, surface dressing and associated works on behalf of Somerset Highways, their works reference is LG018SD007683-SREN.

These phased works will be for ONE DAY within the stated period and the road will be reopened when no works are taking place (in some instances works may be completed in a matter of hours). Signage will be placed on site. There may be a need for additional closures at a later date and notification will be sent for these.

Temporary Road Closure – Church Street, Timberscombe

The works are expected to commence on 29th September 2025 and last for 5 days to enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works. 

The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is not permitted on this occasion.
