We are writing to inform you of essential patching works scheduled to take place on Knowle Lane, Dunster, from Monday 14th July to Friday 25th July 2025.
To ensure the safety of both the public and our workforce, Knowle Lane will be closed daily from 07:30 to 16:30 during this period. Access will be maintained for residents where it is safe to do so. Please note that no work will take place over the weekends.

These works are necessary to maintain the quality and safety of the road surface in preparation for planned surface dressing later this summer. The schedule has been carefully coordinated with our colleagues in the Street Works team and our service provider, Kiely Bros Ltd.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time—especially as several other utility providers have recently worked, and continue to work, in the surrounding area. However, occupancy of this lane is fundamental to our ability to deliver repairs and safeguard the carriageway for future years.
We all want better roads and fewer potholes. While this may cause some short-term inconvenience, these improvements are essential for long-term benefits. Thank you for your patience and support as we work to enhance the condition of our local roads.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us using the details below.
Kind regards,
Kali Martin
