We (the independent local Charity Age UK Somerset), want to reach the older people who need our services, and let them know also about the exercise and activity sessions we run in your district. Also we’d like to find new Volunteers to help us in our mission to make later life happier and less lonely in Somerset and North Somerset!
If you are interested in becoming involved, or need help yourself, please read these posters:

Charles Bonnet Syndrome, Somerset Sight can help
Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) is linked to vision loss. When you lose your sight, your brain gets less information from your eyes so the brain can make up for this by creating unwanted hallucinations. Not everyone who suffers sight loss will experience CBS but for those who do, it is very frightening.
Do you know of anyone suffering CBS? Are they too scared to mention it?
Somerset Sight is your local charity who supports blind and partially sighted people across Somerset with qualitative practical and emotional support.
For more information or to become volunteer, please contact 01823 333818 or email admin@somersetsight.org.uk
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Village Hall Jumble Sale in March will be postponed. We hope to rearrange it later in the year.
There will be bell ringing at St. Petrock’s this afternoon (Saturday) from 2-4pm. It is a session for the Dunster branch of bell ringers.
