The New season of the Club will commence on Monday 2nd March 2026. We look froward to meeting and welcoming old members and new. Our speaker will be James Cordingly, Head Gardner, Dunster Castle, who will kick off the year talking about sub tropical plants.
Our small, friendly, gardening club has been running since 2012 meeting in in St Petrock’s Church at 7.30pm on the 1st Monday of each month, unless other wise stated, commencing in March.
We have a variety of speakers, on a wide range of topics, followed by a raffle and refreshments. A competition of ‘the best flower in my garden today’ is held at each meeting and a small prize is awarded, at our annual Christmas social, for the most points over the year.
Members are encouraged to grow seedlings and plants to sell at our popular annual plant sale and cream tea. We try to have two trips to local gardens, with a cream tea afterwards, during the summer months. We also encourage members to support the Village Show, held annually, in August.
Subscriptions will remain at £10 a year and then £1 per meeting. Visitors £3.00 New members and visitors are always welcome.
