Timberscombe History Group now has a dedicated website at St Petrock’s History Group which features hundreds of historical pictures of Timberscombe and its residents with a wealth of background research. This is constantly updated and reflects the input of many villagers and visitors to improve and increase the knowledge we hold about this Exmoor village.
The St Petrock’s History Group meets every other month on the third Thursday (eg 17th November 2025) and going forwards. The meetings take place in the village church and are well attended with a variety of speakers to give illustrated talks. The History Group page lists all the talks past and planned which have or will take place as well as holding a list of the Archive Index for all compiled village information and downloadable articles written during Covid when we were unable to meet including a comprehensive recording of infiormation about Clicket, the village school and the Timberscombe Friendly Society.
