Regal Theatre Programme

With a spring in our step …. The Regal is really excited for you to see what you can look forward to seeing and experiencing in March.

The Lost Daughter (Cert 15) on 1st March.  The film sees Olivia Coleman as Leda, a middle-aged university professor on a working holiday in Greece, whose relaxation is disrupted by the arrival of a rowdy American family who bring back painful memories of her troubled past.

THE ZOOTS bring the sounds of the sixties to the Regal on 4th March.  With legendary numbers by The Beatles, The Stones, The Monkees, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, The Searchers, The Four Seasons, Elvis and dozens more of your favourite artists.

On the 6th of March we have a matinee showing of the animated film Sing 2 (Cert U) with a spectacular soundtrack.  A film for all the family to enjoy.

To coincide with International Women’s Day on 8th March, Exhibition on Screen brings Frida Kahlo back to the cinema. Discover her art and uncover the truth behind her own turbulent life.

The hilarious comedy The 39 Steps is screened on 17th March. Dozens of characters are played by a cast of just four talented actors.

On the 22nd of March the Regal is delighted to bring The Royal Opera Anniversary Screening of Rigoletto.  Originally performed in September 2021.

Great Expectations arrives at the Regal on 24th March.  The critically acclaimed Pantaloons proudly present an affectionately anarchic adaptation of Charles Dickens’ captivating coming-of-age chronicle.

Somerset Opera perform Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe on Friday 25th March.  Iolanthe was Gilbert and Sullivan’s fourth major collaboration and, like most of their operas, it’s a not-so-subtle dig at some pillar of the British establishment or one of our national characteristics.

We are also delighted to welcome back the PELLÉAS ENSEMBLE on Thursday 31st of March. Please note: This performance will take place at the Methodist Church in Minehead.

What a wonderful way to finish March.
