Temporary Road Closure:   Brook Street, Great House Street and Jubilee Terrace, Timberscombe.

The works are expected to commence on 28th October 2024 and last for 5 days (09:30 – 15:30) to enable Openreach to carry out cabling works. 

The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is permitted on this occasion.

I have contacted Highways regarding residents’ access and they say –

“Openreach will be carrying out cabling works in the area. The works will only be 0930-1530, and the road will be clear at all other times. Cabling is non excavation works. 

Openreach have already advised that pedestrian and emergency service access will be maintained, residential access should not be a concern either, albeit there may be a few minutes delay while the operatives make the site safe to pass.”
