There has been an attempted break-in at a holiday  cottage in the village. Someone had a go at the key safe by the front door, probably with a screwdriver. They damaged it but we’re otherwise unsuccessful.

If you see anybody in the act of tampering with a property or in the grounds acting suspiciously please report it to the Police on 999.
