Our thanks go to everyone who helped in any way to make the village events of last Saturday 31st May be so successful. You are too many to mention but you all know who was involved and so generously gave precious time, enthusiasm and financial support in a spirit of friendship and community to make this a day to remember. Kate and I are enormously grateful to the PCC who helped plan and choreograph a pretty tightly timetabled day as we had not only the bbq and other family events in the church field, but also a stunning Choral Evensong to prepare for. That was a unique and spectacular service where we were equally well supported by villagers and those with a love of liturgical music who can’t readily access such music on Exmoor. It was a wonderful day for the village to come together and celebrate, in the heart of our village. The church was absolutely full with 100 people, a magnificent number, and church funds have been increased by £876 with all expenses paid. Thank you all.
