Thank You

To all our very talented flower arrangers who take such time and trouble to make our church look beautiful ALL year round, and particularly so for the special joyous nature of Easter Sunday as is seen here, THANK YOU from two lucky and delighted Churchwardens! If you haven’t seen them, do pop into St Petrock’s any day, any time (in daylight) as the church is open and welcomes you.

And please don’t forget, our new half term of Warm Welcomes starts this Thursday from 10am. Come along for tea and cake and chat!

Easter Week Meditations and Service

You are most welcome to join us in an Easter Meditation on Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday of this week, Holy Week, at St Petrock’s Church. Starting at 9.30am each morning, the Meditation will last for approximately 20 minutes and will be followed by a light breakfast offering. If you have not previously experienced a gentle reflective Meditation, this is a wonderful opportunity to be guided by Rev Nicola Butt.

Our Easter Sunday Communion service will be at the usual time of 11.00am with Rev Nicola. Come and participate in one of the principal festivals of the Christian Church, commemorating the Resurrection.

Lent Lunch – Thursday 10th at 12.00 St Petrock’s

Do please join us for a lunch at 12 noon in the church offering a variety of home made soups, and with rolls and butter, to eat together. Just turn up and there is no charge. Any voluntary donations given will be the final call in our appeal to help the Emergency Appeal for Sudan. We hope to see you there! Marion and Kate

Churchyard Clearing

For anyone able to give a hand with maintaining our lovely village churchyard we meet as usual this Saturday, 5th April, (always the first Saturday of the month), between 10am and 12 noon. Any time you can give to help is really appreciated, simply bring gardening gloves, any tools you need, and we meet and decide on the most important needs of the day. It’s a very friendly and peaceful morning when you can work in solitary or in small groups and we can together achieve a lot in a short space of time. You don’t need to worry about the garden waste as we dispose of that afterwards. Thank you to all who help, whenever they can. Marion and Kate.
