The Starters and Puddings evening last Saturday in the Village Hall was a great success. We have raised £1041.40 which is a tremendously successful fundraiser to support our village church and keep it open, in good order and available to everyone. Thank you all for your support on the evening and we hope that everyone had a good time.
The hard work of all our volunteers who prepared for the evening, cooked a delicious range of courses, offered wonderful raffle prizes, washed up and moved upteen tables and chairs, along with general enthusiasm and commitment, made this a real success of which we can all be proud. Thanks also go to Minnie Hates the Hoover who played a terrific range of songs for the enjoyment of everybody there. Well done everyone who helped in any way!
