Ringing for Peace – this is the bellringing group that rang at 18.30hrs on 6th June to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day Landings. Left to right – Martin Booth, Elisabeth Powls, Kate Hart, Alan Hines, Allan Sutton, Gwynnie Poole, Pauline Bennett and Mike Boys.

The PCC would like to thank everyone who contributed and supported the recent BBQ and unveiling of
the new reredos in the church. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon in the church field where many villagers and visitors enjoyed a tasty BBQ, a well-stocked bar, tombola and live music. 

In the church there was great excitement at seeing the reredos hanging behind the altar for the first time. Teas and home-made cakes were served while the reredos was studied in detail. 

The photography exhibition was also appreciated by visitors to the church, our thanks to Michael Reed.

We raised the magnificent total of £791 for church funds. We could not have raised this amount without your generosity and support. Thank you once again.

Just a reminder that this resumes on Thursday 6th between 10am and 12 noon, for the next seven weeks, final session before the summer break will be Thursday 18th July. You are very welcome to come along and drop in, or stay, and enjoy the company of others and refreshments.
