This coffee morning with delicious cakes to buy and with local crafting talent showing their wares is taking place on the morning of Saturday 13th April in the Village Hall. Do come along and enjoy refreshments, our raffles and quiz, childrens’ craft making and other temptations. It’s all in a good cause, to support our village church and keep it open, safe and welcoming to everybody. We hope to see you there!

ps If you have any goodies to offer for the raffle, bottles for the tombola, or home-made cakes for our ever-popular cake stall, please do bring them to the church on Friday afternoon before 5pm, or direct to the Village Hall on Saturday morning before 10am. Please note that there will be no Warm Welcome this Thursday 4th or next Thursday 11th April as it is the school Easter holiday period.

Warm Welcome will resume Thursday 18th April between 10am and 12 noon, and we look forward to seeing you then. All are warmly invited for hot drinks and refreshments and good company! If anybody would like to come along but may find it difficult to get to and from St Petrock’s Church, please do let us know and we will arrange a lift for you.

Apologies, I should have said that the Reflections will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning at 9.30am in the church. It is Warm Welcome on Thursday morning at 10.00am.

This is one of the most important weeks in the church calendar, as we now move towards Good Friday and then Easter Sunday. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 9.30am, there will be a series of Reflections for about 30 minutes, lead by Rev Nicola Butt, which will be followed by a light breakfast. Everybody is welcome to come along. Don’t forget, the church is open for your visit and private worship every single day from 9am to 5pm.

Our Warm Welcome is on Thursday as usual and again, you are extremely welcome to join us at any point between 10am and 12 noon when hot drinks and cakes and biscuits will be on offer. There is no charge. The village school will have had their Easter hat procession and finish with a service in the church. There may be a short overlap but you are invited to watch the parade!

We look forward to seeing you at any or all of these times, and hope to welcome you to the Holy Communion Common Worship service on Easter Sunday at 11am.

Traditionally posies of flowers are distributed at the 11am service – they are all prepared and ready for tomorrow. Join us for a special service at 11am, simnel cake, refreshments and flowers – you will be very welcome!
