Marion Jeffrey and Kate Hart

help to win £1000 for our village church

You may know that we have entered this free competition three times before in previous years, and on two occasions have been fortunate to win £1000 each time. This is a completely free entry and we would be thrilled if you would make an online vote in favour of St Petrock’s. You only need to vote once. These votes are all entered into a random draw and we could perhaps win £1000 again. The costs of maintaining our village church are relentless and this could help in so many ways to keep St Petrock’s in good order.

All you have to do to nominate our church is click here and enter this information:

Enter St Petrock’s Church, Timberscombe (which is the first drop down option)

Enter charity type Community

Enter your email details, one entry per person.

We must emphasise this is a genuine, free to enter competition run by our own church insurers, and every online vote cast does increase our chances of being drawn at random for a £1000 prize. Do please vote for us and please pass onto any other family or friends or supporters who are all allowed one vote. The more the merrier!

Thank you!

Marion Jeffrey

Thank you Timberscombe!

We held a very well supported, successful and enjoyable Easter Fair at the village hall on Saturday and we raised a magnificent total of £515.52. The hall looked very spring like with yellow primroses on each table.

Thank you to all the helpers on the day and to everyone who gave their time, baked the Simnel cake, donated cakes and home-made items, raffle prizes, Easter Eggs, biscuits, hot cross buns, and items for the bric a brac and book stall.

This was the first year we had a children’s activities table run by Rev Nicola Butt, and some great flowers and bracelets were created.

Thank you also to the craft tables whose handmade items helped to make this an enjoyable event.

Thank you again from St Petrock’s PCC, these funds will help protect the future of our beautiful church.

Marion Moncrieff.
