Timberscombe Gardening Club AGM & Social, 2nd December

Next Monday, 2nd December, is the last meeting of the season for the Gardening Club.

This will be the AGM and Social. Usual time 7.30pm. Usual venue, St Petrock’s Church. After the business items have been dealt with Carol will have a Gardening Quiz for us, then there will be time for refreshments, mulled wine or hot chocolate, and a natter to catch up on the year. The results of the monthly flower competition will be announced. Bring some small change as there will be a raffle.

Contributions of a small plate of bite sized nibbles would be appreciated please.

Parish Council Vacancy

There is still one vacancy on the Timberscombe Parish Council.

The Council is looking to co-opt an enthusiastic person who wants  to make a real difference to the village.

Police Notice

      Officers investigating more than 20 burglaries across Somerset and into Devon over the past four months have arrested and charged three men and seized hundreds of suspected stolen items. On Friday 15 November detectives arrested the trio and searched four properties, seizing items including antique silverware, paintings, furniture and weapons as well as power tools, garden machinery and electrical items.
