Just for information

Since setting up the Timberscombe website my name has frequently appeared in Free Press articles, which make it appear that I have contacted the newspaper. I frequently get people commenting on articles that they think I have written.

In fact, the articles are quotes from the village website , or the Parish Council minutes (for which I am clerk) and I HAVE NOT personally contacted the newspaper.

The articles are an accurate representation of the facts but I would just like to make it clear that it is not me that is sending them in.

XMOOR – ROX

We are the organisers of the Xmoor Rox Music event that has been going for 4 years in July near Bridgetown.  The Big Breakfast is one way we raise money to ensure the costs to run the event are covered. Xmoor Rox remains a non-profit event donating proceeds towards local Exmoor Charities, community groups, schools and clubs.

Last year we donated over £4000 towards a local primary school project, youth group, health hub and Bridgetown & Exton Church. It would be great to be able to spread the word wider across Exmoor

Kind regards – Debi Oliver
