Reminder

Invitation to drop-in session regarding Timberscombe water supply improvements.

Earlier this month we wrote to you to advise that the opening phase of Wessex Water’s project to replace deteriorating water mains in and around the village of Timberscombe had been completed.

As you may recall, the overall £850,000 project was split into two parts to try to help reduce disruption for residents, with a further phase scheduled from January 2025.

This section of the mains replacement will take place on the Clouds Steep (Cowbridge) and A396 Dunster to Timberscombe road to the north of the village and is expected to last until May 2025.

The nature of the work means a road closure will be required to complete this final phase but we are exploring options to reduce the length of the scheme and further reduce local inconvenience, including the possibility of our team working through the nights.

To this end, we will be hosting a further public drop-in session in Timberscombe Village Hall (Bemberry Bank, Timberscombe, TA24 7TY) on Thursday 26 September 2024 between 5.30-7.30pm

Members of both our operational and engineering teams will be available to provide more information about the project and answer questions and we hope you will take this opportunity to find out more about this further work.

Anything else you need to know?

After the public drop-in session has taken place, we will write to you again, fully outlining the details and dates of the scheme.
