First of all I would like to thank everyone for their very kind thoughts and helpfulness.

Timberscombe is a remarkable village.

Gerry’s funeral will be at St Petrock’s Church.  Anyone who wishes to come is very welcome.

It is on Wednesday, 6th of December at 1.30pm.

In accordance with Gerry’s wishes it will a simple ceremony – dignified but not formal as I want it  to reflect his personality.

Therefore, there will be no need for flowers unless that is your choice, but you could leave a small donation which will go to the church.  Anyone who knew Gerry is invited to make a SHORT comment of a memory of him which you can just stand and say or have someone else read it out.   Please send it to me asap if you want it read.   After the service you are welcome to stay to meet our small family and indulge in light refreshments.

It is not necessary to wear black unless you are more comfortable doing so.

Thank you so much – I am overwhelmed at our community spirit.

The annual  clean of Timberscombe Village Hall will take place on Saturday 25th November, starting at 10am.

Any help would be much appreciated. Refreshments provided for the workers.

SATURDAY 23^rd DEC.  Community Carol Singing 6pm

MONDAY 25^th DEC. Christmas Day Lunch

We must have at least 10 people to make it possible.
